Hello there, my name is Arnie!
My foster mom says Arnie is an old-fashioned name that suits me because I’m a mellow old soul. I came into AARCS’ care fighting for my life with the deadly Parvo virus. The nice people in the vet clinic gave me really good care and now I’m feeling 100% better and ready to find my forever home! If you’re interested in being that home, here’s a few things you should know about me:
I sleep quietly through the night and have really good manners. My foster mom says I’m super easy to train because I’m smart, I listen, and I REALLY like food. I like hanging out with the people and the grumpy old dogs in my foster home, I can spend an afternoon just sunning myself on the deck and playing with my squeaky toys. Squeaky toys are my favourite! The more squeak the better! Other than making my toys squeak real loud I’m a very quiet boy. I’m working on my confidence in new situations (again, food really helps) and learning to walk on leash is a work in progress. Giving affection is another favourite past-time of mine, so if you want a dog who will love you with all his heart, apply for me today!
