“Hey there! My name is Spartacus and I am a very affectionate, soft, and lovable kitty. My favourite things are belly rubs and playing with toys. I am friendly and happy to have other kitties around and love all people too! I love to follow my foster mom and dad around the house so we can always be in the same room. I also snuggle up to them at night time.
Shortly after coming into AARCS’ care it was determined I had some kind of spinal cord injury in the past that caused me to walk a little funny. I was started on some medication to help and it has made a huge difference for me. Administering the medication is very easy as I will eat it from a pill pocket at meal times (twice daily). I may still walk a little bit off but it doesn’t stop me from being a happy playful kitty.
I adapted to my foster home very quickly and had no problems meeting other kitties in the home. I warm up to people very quickly as well and I’m very sweet. Being picked up isn’t my thing, but I will snuggle on the couch or bed with you.
My medical team will go over any questions you have about my injury or medication. Come meet me today!” – XO, Spartacus
