“I’m constantly wanting to explore and be curious but my timidness sometimes gets in the way of doing so.
I am still unsure of humans. I want all the pets and rubs but sometimes I’m a bit too timid to get them. I see the resident cat getting all the pats and it gives me courage that I can do so too. I definitely want another cat in my future home. I spent the first week of being in my foster home under the couch, only coming out to eat when no one else was in the room. But, when I saw the resident cat, I came right out and started to purr.
For my future home to be a successful place for me, I need another cat to help socialize me and to show me that humans aren’t bad and it is a safe place. I have started to sleep on the bed with the human and even sat on the couch with them. I sometimes forget that this human is kind and I hiss and run away when they come near but I am getting better.
I love toy mice and toy balls and am getting the courage to show my human my playful side. I don’t really like strings, they scare me when they are thrown my way. I know I am still timid, but I have come such a long way, please give me the chance to continue to work on my timidness in my forever home.
I have such a loud purr, let me show you!”
