Hi! I’m Star, and it’s time for me to shine again!
I came to AARCS’ care with my six puppies! Six of them needing all of my love, affection and protection. Now that I get a break, the world is my oyster! Scratches and pets are what I look forward to most each and every day! I can’t go a day without a good chin, belly, or ear scratch! Any of those will do, and don’t worry, I’ll remind you! It’s time for me to get some attention now that my pups have flown the coop. Walks are a good way to pamper me; new smells and things to see are always exciting! Plus, a good long walk each day allows for nap time with you later! With only really knowing my own pups, I’ve never really had a chance to make friends, so new dogs make me very anxious. Slow interactions with new playmates are a must for me to get over my fear and help build my confidence. I’m still learning things like my name and how to sit, but I can’t wait to impress you with what I’ve learned so far! Even though everyone tells me I’m such a gentle girl, little kids still scare me! They’re so small and fragile which makes me quite uncomfortable. A home without children would be best until I can get to know them. I like to be cautious around everyone, but I promise I’m a sweetie when you get to know me!
Looking forward to meeting my new best friend! – XO Star
