There once was a dog name Styx, who looked really cute in pics!
Styx here! A week ago I found myself being rescued from the cold Canadian winter by some really nice people from a place they call AARCS. A few days later, I was taken to another unfamiliar place they call a home. I’ve been living here with my foster parents and their resident dog, and have been settling in very well. I LOVE food, and here I don’t need to ever have an empty stomach. I also have really enjoyed being very close to my foster parents, and getting as many cuddles from them as I possibly can.
Even though it is -30 degrees out, I will still make the trip outside to use the washroom, since that is what I am used to. I don’t think inside the house is the place to go, and I always know I will be welcomed in right away once I am done my business outside. I have gotten into somewhat of a routine here, in the mornings I get fed, and then allow my foster parents to go to work. I don’t mind them being gone during the day, I usually just take that time to relax. In the evenings they come home and feed me again! Then we get all night to play, cuddle, and go out for a walk. At night we all go up to bed. My favourite place is underneath my foster parent’s bed, it reminds me of a cave.
I get along pretty well with their resident dog too; a few days ago I even tried a thing called ‘play’, which involved chasing my new friend around the backyard. They also have these things called ‘stuffies’ that I can chew all I want, and so many bones! I have really enjoyed my time with my foster parents, but I know I can’t stay here forever, so would love to find a home I can call my own.
I’m on duty for some love and cuddles, any takers?
