    Story

Hello! I am Ted, but everyone at my foster calls me Teddy, because well look at me! I am the silliest cutest fluffy man you could meet. My giant head and tiny ears also have a way of making me look rather like a Teddy.

So, a bit about me. I was rescued very recently, and I don’t really understand this whole “being a pet” thing yet. I like people (very much) but I’m not quite sure what I’m supposed to do. I am happy to be pet and fussed over but I can be a little shy about certain things like brushing. I also like toys but don’t always know what is mine and what isn’t just yet. Hey, this living inside stuff is confusing sometimes! I do know how to potty outside.

I am going to be a big boy. I have HUGE paws! I also have a double dewclaw on one foot. Isn’t that cool?

I like to play so so much. I will bring you toys and socks and shoes and anything if you will only play with me. I’ll even let you take the toy if it means you will play with me. I play very gentle with my mouth. After all, I’m trying to be a good boy. I am not aggressive with the resident dog in my home but sometimes she doesn’t want me around because I am excited. I have heard rumors about things like walks, baths, tricks, and kennel training but for now we are just taking things slow. Maybe you’d like to teach me?

Oh and Broccoli is yucky. That’s all from Teddy!

Has Canine Papilloma Virus (Warts), which do not affect him at all and will go away in time. Ted is not used to living in a home with people and is unsure of leashes and collars. He is fine once they are on him.
