    Story

Bridget is a sweet girl that will melt your heart!!!

Bridget has recently finished being a wonderful mom to her 6 puppies; and she is now looking for a family to give her lots of love and provide her with new positive opportunities, to discover at her own pace. Once Bridget is comfortable, she will play joyfully with a lot energy. At the end of the day, Bridget enjoys her own space and will settle in for a good night’s sleep. When you’re at work, she will hang out in the house, resting in preparation to give you a big greeting when you get home.

Bridget likes nice cats and dogs, but is a bit afraid and cautious of grumpy or aggressive ones. She has lived with a foster resident dog that she was able to trust and play with extremely well, but does gets scared when dogs growl at her.

Bridget loves human attention, even from little humans. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys a good scratch, cuddles or a belly rub any time of day. She is still needing work on not jumping up and grabbing at hands when she is excited or playing. Bridget loves toys, so you will need to have plenty so that she can play, and learn what she can and can’t chew.

Bridget is a quick learner and has already learned some commands. She has just recently learned to go on walks, and she loves smelling new environments and getting exercise. She is good on a leash, but will need some treats or the help of a companion to encourage her progress.

Bridget has made ‘leaps and bounds’ since having her puppies and coming into foster care. She can now herself learn to be a puppy and enjoy being a part of a family’s life. With a little more polishing, this girl is going to be the best, most loving family dog. Please consider Bridget to join your family. Once you look into her eyes,… you won’t look back!!!
