Hello humans! My name is Willow. I was saying to myself just this morning, “Willow, you know what you need? You need a family of your own.” So I sat down to write this for the wonderful AARCS people, because apparently that’s the kind of thing they do – find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable dogs who are…I shudder to type this…LAPLESS. That’s right: I have no lap to call my own.
I came into AARCS care from the NWT and I am about 1 year old. I am a very smart girl and I already know how to sit and shake a paw. I would love for you to teach me more and work further on the basics. I love to have my brain tested. I am currently living at the shelter and not loving it here. The environment is over stimulating and loud for me. I seem to be dog reactive here so they think it would be best if I can be the only dog in my new home. They do think that with some proper training and professional work I may be able to find a dog friend eventually. I am getting bored in here and have recently found that I have a tail and love to chase my tail right now.
Could you be persuaded to volunteer your lap?
