Hello, my name is Jay and my foster mom says I am pretty awesome.
My mom Jersey came to AARCS before we were born. When she arrived people couldn’t believe how big she was, like HUGE. When she went to her foster home the family asked people to guess how many of us there would be. There were a lot of guesses, but only one person got it right. There were 13 of us, yes 13! That’s a lot of puppies but mom and our foster family were amazing and made sure we all got enough to eat and were well taken care of. We had the best puppy piles and now we are all doing great.
I am now living in a new foster home with my brother Jett. We have only been here a few days so are just getting used to our new home. Our new foster mom is kind of strange. She keeps taking us out into the cold and puts us down and tells us to pee. The first couple of days were very cold and I just wanted to go back in the warm house, but now that it is warming up I don’t mind going out as much. I get lots of praise and treats which I really like, so I am getting the idea of going to the bathroom outside, but foster mom says I am a work in progress. My hair is pretty short, so I would really like to have a dog coat for cold days, at least until I get bigger.
I like to be with my foster mom and if she doesn’t let me come in the same room I let her know that she forgot me in a very loud voice, but she is kinda old and I think perhaps her hearing is not so good if she does not get us,after a while I give up and go to sleep. I sleep very well at night, and really like to sleep on my foster mom’s lap while she is watching TV. I am not as confident as my brother, but I really like meeting new people and do well with the dogs in my new home. I am really looking forward to meeting my forever family and hope to find one that will spend lots of time with me and take me on lots of adventures.
Jay is a sweet, social pup who will make some lucky family very happy.
