Hello, my name is Jett and my foster mom says I am a great pup.
My mom Jersey came to AARCS before we were born. When she arrived people couldn’t believe how big she was, like HUGE. When she went to her foster home the family asked people to guess how many of us there would be. There were a lot of guesses, but only one person got it right. There were 13 of us, yes 13! That’s a lot of puppies but mom and our foster family were amazing and made sure we all got enough to eat and were well taken care of. We had the best puppy piles and now we are all doing great.
I am now living in a new foster home with my brother Jay. We have only been here a few days so are just getting used to our new home. Our new foster mom has been working on our house training and takes our outside to go to the bathroom every time we wake up, eat, play or even look the wrong direction. I think she is pretty obsessive about it but I am getting the idea and when I do go, I get lots of praise and treats, and I do really like the treats so I am trying very hard.
I am more confident than Jay, so I generally out front but we like to stay close together and play lots.
I like to be with my foster mom and if she doesn’t let me come in the same room I let her know that she forgot me in a very loud voice, but she is kinda old and I think perhaps her hearing is not so good if she does not get us, after a while I give up and go to sleep. I sleep very well at night, and really like to sleep on my foster mom’s lap while she is watching TV. I really like meeting new people and do well with the dogs in my new home. I am really looking forward to meeting my forever family and hope to find one that will spend lots of time with me and take me on tons of adventures.
Jett is a lovely, outgoing, social pup who will make a wonderful companion.
