    Story

Hi my name is Spindles and my foster family says that I am a beautiful girl inside and out. I’m looking for a fur-ever home of my very own.

Spindles is a very gentle girl who loves nothing more than to be near and with her humans. When you pet her she will melt into your arms and appreciate all of the affection you can give. She also loves going for her walks and car rides. Spindles can be a little unsure of new situations but settles quickly with routine and positive reinforcement. She is eager to please and food motivated which makes training easy. Spindles walks well on leash and has good recall (especially if there is a treat in your pocket) but she can also be very strong if something catches her attention by surprise (such as the deer in our yard). Her activity is restricted at the moment as she recovers from her injury but once that is complete she is the type of dog who would love going on adventures with you.

Spindles gets along with her resident foster brother who is a very calm and submissive boy but can be dog selective with high energy dogs. She would do well in a home with another calm dog or as an only dog.

Spindles is fully house trained and will let you know she needs an outside break by sitting by the door or giving a gentle whine. She enjoys her crate for eating, treats and short breaks but prefers to sleep by the side of your bed at night. Her ideal home would be with someone who doesn’t work long hours where she would have to be crated for extended periods and a good fenced yard for her to enjoy.

My foster family said that I will make a wonderful addition to the right family. I’m looking forward to having a family of my very own and hope to meet you soon.
