Aspen stole our hearts instantly upon arrival and she fit in flawlessly. She is a loving, loyal, and thoughtful dog.
Very true to the boxer breed, Aspen is loyal, brave, loving and very patient with her family. She can be both calm and serious or loud and goofy – whichever one you are in the mood for!
You can go an entire day and hardly notice that she is there, so long as she has a comfy place to lay her head. She loves routine, and wants to have an active role in her family. Since arriving, she has dutifully accompanied me to put my toddler to sleep for naps, and bedtime, and she takes this job very seriously.
She has been a remarkable mom to her 5 puppies, and gets along well with the 6 dogs in her foster home. She believes strongly that cats should live in trees.
Aspen is protective of her family and home and must be sure to let strangers know, in no uncertain terms, that she is taking care of the house. Once she knows they are aware of that fact, they can be great friends and are worthy of some boxer wiggles and lovin’!
If you are looking for a smart, loving, and loyal girl to warm your couch, Aspen is officially applying for the position!
