    Story

    Hi friends! It’s me, Otter!!!!

You’ve probably read a lot about me on “The Facebook” …. I’m a pretty big deal!!

I came in to AARCS a few months ago after I was hit by a car. I had a broken pelvis and leg and have been on crate rest and pain meds to get better. But please don’t be sad for me – I’m such a lucky boy that I got help!
Unfortunately, my pelvis wasn’t healing as well as they thought it would, so I had an FHO surgery a few weeks ago, to help me feel better. Because of my surgery, I may have follow up vet visits, so a home in or near Calgary is ideal! I am feeling a whole lot better now and I don’t even remember how it felt before!

I LOVE to play with other dogs (I’m better with dogs my size as I forget how small the littles are and sometimes they get cranky at me!) and cats too (as long as they want to play back!). I’ll need an active family that has lots of time to spend with me! I would also love a backyard to play in and do my business in…. my foster mom tries to “walk me” but I’m too shy to do my business in public right now! I know with more practice I will do it no problem!

I love to cuddle and will sleep the night away in your bed (if you let me!). Momma says I’m crate trained and 95% house trained – she’s so proud of me that I even sit at the door and wait to be let out!

I don’t want to brag or anything…. but I can already “sit” and “shake a paw”. Now I’m learning to “lay down” – whatever that means! As long as I get some snacks, I’ll do anything you ask! I’m such a smart and good boy!

If you think you’re a good fit for a sweet puppy like me, please apply ASAP!
