    Story

Meet Nessa: the cutest little nugget you’ll ever see!

Do you want to come home to an adorable doggo who wiggles her behind so hard with excitement to see you, her whole body moves with her? Look no further! Do you want a pupper who is not just a pretty face, but knows all sorts of tricks and commands, too? You’ve come to the right place! Are you looking for a gal who’s all grown up and knows exactly what she wants in life (ahem, a good family to love her forever)? Today must be your lucky day!

Nessa is an absolute sweetheart of a dog. She loves her people most, but likes to have a doggy companion to snuggle with, too. She is SO smart and it seems like she can learn just about anything in a minute- she already knows sit, shake, shake the other paw, speak, come, down, touch, and probably many others we have yet to discover! She isn’t a huge fan of the crate, but has done amazingly when left to free roam with her foster doggy siblings. Apparently, she did a little destructive chewing with separation anxiety when left alone in the shelter before, but her foster home hasn’t had one bit of that! She has quite a strong prey drive, so little animals might not be the best fit for her- and on that note, she is pretty strong for a 35 lb dog, so “little humans” walking her on their own wouldn’t be a good idea either. With all that said though, Nessa truly is just the sweetest little love bug, and her foster-humans say it has been amazing watching her come out of her shell so quickly; it took her no time at all to go from a shaking, nervous pup to a confident, happy, and eager dog. She would make a wonderful addition to any family willing to give her a chance!
