    Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce myself to you. I’m Tahoe and am wondering if your home is my dream home?! Let me tell you a little about myself;

    I was involved in a car accident which resulted in me losing my front leg. The damage was too much to repair but my physical wounds have healed nicely. In fact I get around just fine on 3 legs. My emotional wounds are still a work in progress. Since coming into my foster home I have made AMAZING progress. I’m learning to trust people, trust that touch is OK and the other day even initiated touch from a stranger who came to visit me. I’ve also started showing my Foster Mum what I need, namely bum scratches. I don’t know what this “job” is that she goes to but it interferes with my bum scratch time!!
    So what is my dream home I hear you ask. I am looking for a patient household who understands that I will need time and a bit of help to continue to blossom into the amazing dog my Foster Mum knows I am and will be for you. To help me I will need another dog in the home to show me the ropes. But don’t worry, I like other dogs as well as cats and don’t have any resource guarding. I am happy to chill in my crate when you are at work and am trusted to hang out in the living room over night. Right now I’m working really hard to understand that being on leash is OK so will need a home with a back yard to do my business in. A quieter home would be my ideal, either with children over 16 or maybe even a couple who’s looking to have children in the next couple of years. Basically I’m just a bit of a scaredy cat but that can change with your help. And food. I love food!!!

    If you think I am the dog for you please submit an app and I promise I will be on my best behavior when we meet
