    “Hi my name is Turnip,

I have a funky looking back leg that our amazing medical team is helping get all better. Despite what the vets and my foster mom tells me, I refuse to believe that I have a broken leg.

I love to play, in fact, I would play all day until I finally need a nap. I also looooveeee food, wet food is probably my best friend. As soon as you put it down I will make sure to lick the dish clean. I also love pretty much any type of toy, if its a toy mouse, a string, a bottle cap, a receipt, a dog toy, I’ll make sure to play with it.

Right now I’m on crate rest until we figure out whats going on with my leg but I do not let it keep me down. I also am living with a medium sized dog who is my best friend. We constantly try to play through my crate and when my mom takes me out for cuddles we ignore her so we can cuddle and groom each other. I would love to have other fur siblings in the home so we can always play and cuddle with each other. I would also do OK with no other animals, as long as you’re OK with me wanting all the attention.

My foster mom says I’m one of the most energetic and loving animals she’s ever taken in, and man does she have a lot. I know she would keep me if I could but she says I’m going to make a family so happy.

I can’t wait to go up for adoption and finally meet my furever family!”

Update: “GUESS WHAT!? GUESS WHAT?! My foster mom says my leg is all better!!!! This means I’m off crate rest and I’m learning to be a normal kitty. I loooveee to play with all of my toys and scale my cat trees. My foster mom says I’ve absolutely mastered my sad face in order to get what ever I want (aka treats, more wet food, or all the attention). I still haven’t met any of those other things that meow but I have met so many other animals! My favourite is still my surrogate mom, aka my dog foster sister, but I would watch my foster mom lizards all day long if I could. It sounds like I am going to be on the adoptable cats page soon!!!! I’m just so much closer to meeting you <3, you know you can't say no to my sad face".

    -Love, Turnip
