    Story

    “Hey everyone! I’m Kelby.

I’m a petite little lady who is incredibly sweet. I love to give little soft kisses while I’m snuggling with you. I will try to help with everything, even chores like cleaning the litter box. I just want to be near you as much as I can.

My foster mum says I’m a bit of a chatty cathy, but I just can’t help it if I love this new life so much that I have to share my joy. I’m almost always purring, yes, even while I’m trying to talk to you.

My favorite toys are wand toys. I really like stalking, butt wiggling, and running after them. I like other toys too, but I really do prefer to play with you. I need sturdy toys so I don’t just rip them to pieces. What can I say? I like to play hard.

I also love food, but I have some tummy troubles so I’m on a veterinarian diet to try and settle them down, but don’t worry – I even love that food. Mostly, my tummy issues just mean I end up with soft poop, but I’m proud to say I always make it to the litter box. I’m sure you’re happy to hear that too. They haven’t found any particular reason for these issues, so it’s likely that I have a sensitive digestive system.

Human food seems really appealing and my foster mom says I need to work on not trying to steal people food. She’s been working on this with me, but how am I supposed to help myself when it smells sooooo yummy!

I can get really aggressive about other cats in my space so I should be the only cat in the home. My foster fur-sisters aren’t sure what to make of me growling, spitting and hissing at them all the time, even if I just see them from several feet away.

I have this weird little quirk when I drink water sometimes. I try to nurse my water. Sometimes, I’ll be at the water bowl for a long time and can make some weird sounds, but this is all I’m trying to do (even if it isn’t really effective for actual drinking), but it’s comforting for me.

I’m currently hunting for my fur-ever home. Are we a purr-fect match? If so, apply to meet me today!”
