“Nice to meet you, my name is Zoe! I’m two-years-old and have some great traits I would like to share with you. I’m very kind and loyal, but a bit of a shy gal who is seeking my forever family! I love my people, but I can take a little extra time to get comfortable around new faces. Don’t worry though, once I get to know you, I don’t want to leave your side! Sometimes when strange people walk by, I woof at them but foster Mom assures me that it’s okay and rewards me when I check in with her. So I’m getting better and will need you to help me with this. Be sure to keep snacks with you and I will be eager to please you, in return all I ask is that you slip me a cookie! In my foster home I have had the pleasure of meeting other dogs, and don’t get me wrong, I like dogs, but sometimes they can be a little too much energy for me. I don’t like when dogs jump on me… It’s just not ladylike! Calm, laid-back dogs are more my style!

When I arrived in AARCS’ care, I’ve had surgery on both of my knee’s and now I can finally walk pain-free! I’m still moving a little slow, but that will subside over time. Because of my procedure, it’s important that I keep a fit figure and stay on my Glucosamine supplements for the rest of my life. Going for walks brings me great joy and I really love exploring in a nice big yard too! Did someone say TOYS? They are the best and I love them dearly! If you took me home, I hope you have lots of toys to keep me company when you’re not around. My Foster Mom says I’m her little shadow and I enjoy snuggling up to her whenever and wherever I can! If you were to pick me, we could snuggle and you can call me Zo Zo… Once I settle in, I’ll even show you my cute as a button snore! Adopt me today! – xo Zoe AKA Zo Zo

She had surgery on her knees and will need to gradually increase her activity level. Some times gets excited and you have to slow her down. She is not ready to be running around. She will also need to keep lean and trim, never letting her get over weight. Will also need to continue Glucosamine supplements for the rest of her life.
