    Story

“Hi, my name is Utley and I’ve been on the lookout for my new “person”, could that be you?

When I first arrived in AARCS care, I was very shy and unsure of my surroundings. Lucky for me, they decided that I needed to move out of the shelter and into my very own foster home.

It took me a few weeks to slowly come around, but my foster mom was super patient with me. She showed me how to play with string and a small ball, but most of all, she showed me what love and being in a family was all about.

When I was in my room, I started playing with the resident cats from underneath the door, my foster mom told me I had to get used to them first, and they had to get used to me. But when the time came to meet them, guess what?, I LOVED them! I wasn’t even afraid of the big dog or the two little ones that live here too, isn’t that super cool?!

I have to tell you though, I’m still shy, and I most likely will hide when you come to see me at my foster home and I will need time to warm up to new faces, but once I realize your here to treat me like prince, I will be all in!!!, I just like to observe my surroundings before I come crashing in to steal your heart.

So, I am looking for a family who would be willing to give me that time to come out of my shell, and once I do, you wont regret letting me apart of your family.

I follow my foster mom all over the house now, I come when she calls me, and did I tell you that I LOVE belly rubs?

So if your looking for that one special cat, and willing to work with me, I promise you and I will be best friends.”
