“Hi, I’m Vikram! I’m a curious young boy who needs to know what’s what, and who’s where. You’ll often find me where the action is.

I absolutely love playing; whether it’s chasing cat toys around the house, trying to untie your shoelace that’s dangling oh so enticingly as you walk by me, or pawing at that pen you left out. I sometimes take it too far by attacking your feet when you walk by or by scratching at your hand as you pet me, but I’m young and I really do mean no harm. I’m curious, but in my defense, they say satisfaction brought the cat back. So I need to know what you’re doing in the fridge, or what you’re doing when you’re at the counter, or even what you’re doing when you scoop out my litter. Sometimes it gets me in trouble though. My foster mom really doesn’t like me on the counter, I don’t understand why yet, perhaps you can tell me? But she can never stay mad at me for long because sometimes I look cross-eyed and run into the walls and it gives her a laugh.

I think I’d like more humans around so I could make more humans laugh and be entertained. Plus it’s a lot of work tiring me out because I’m so energetic and playful. I think kids would like me. I play fetch when I want to, you can stay sitting and I’ll bring a ball to you and then when I get tired out, I’ll curl up around you. I’m interested in the resident cat but she’s a lot older than me and I think all my energy and curiosity is off putting to her. When I get excited I forget that and she hisses at me, but that just means we’re best friends, right? I have a lot to learn but I’m a fast learner and would love a place to call my own and settle in.

I’d like to adopt you, will you adopt me?”
