Hi, I’m Linza, a young shepherd mix, and am so happy to be with AARCS to find my furever family. I came into care with my brother and sisters from Saskatchewan!
Good day there! Were you looking for me? These eyes are pretty persuasive, no? I should likely introduce myself.
I am an (initially) shy, timid little girl but I have a big personality. With a bit of patience, persistence and time, I am an absolute boss babe. Don’t let first impressions mislead you.
Foster mom says I am one smart cookie as I have picked up tricks and commands really fast. I love learning and can’t wait to train more. I’m super food motivated. I love cuddles and once we get to know each other, you won’t see a tail wag harder than mine to see you. I get so excited I also chirp. It’s pretty endearing, I’m told.
The resident cats don’t really bother me – we have this chillaxed thing going. The resident dog thinks I’m sweet but that I have a bit too much spunk for him. And kids? LOVE THEM. Is it possible to love too much? Because I do! My foster toddler is always showered with tons of kisses. Like – always! Sometimes he sees me and changes paths to avoid the smooch bath.
I am working on crate training but am really not a fan, and don’t love being left by myself. I have never been on leash until foster mom brought me home, so it’s really what we would call a “work in progress.”
I would do well in a home with another dog as I could use another dog to play with, show me the ropes and work with me when I get too bossy. I’m gonna be a smart, beautiful lady with a decent amount of energy so hopefully you can offer me the training and exercise I need to thrive.
