Hi my name is Moscato, and my Foster Mom thinks that I was the runt of the litter, small but mighty and full of spunk!
My original smaller size did not stop me from being the first to do stairs, use the resident adult dogs as my jungle gym, explore the garden, find my way up (and down) into the raised garden bed – nothing scares me. I’m gonna be a smart, beautiful lady with a decent amount of energy so hopefully you can offer me the training and exercise I need to thrive.
My experience on a leash is “work in progress” – I tried it once, and did OK, just not loving it, which is expected at my age. My walks with my foster family and their resident dogs seems to work just fine, as I am happy following along.
I share a bunk (k-pen) with my sister, and we slept right through the night from the first day we arrived at this foster family – no whining. I guess all that exercise outdoors with the foster dogs does that!
I do my best to use the pee pads in the house, however that square piece of property keeps getting smaller and smaller. I prefer to use the grass in the backyard however my foster Mom doesn’t always get my signals, so accidents still occur.
I hope to find a family who has a fully fenced back yard, with some shade for this heat during these ‘dog days of summer’. A family who is active and will be attentive to me as I grow into a loved family member.
Plenty of free cuddles to the first family that adopts me!!
