The fact that I am a chihuahua should be enough for you to want to adopt me but let me tell you a bit more about myself.
When I arrived at AARCS I was on the verge of death from a preventable disease called Parvo. I remained hospitalized for days on IV fluids and a number of medications until I was stable enough to go into a home to continue my recovery.
I am now fully healed and learning how much fun it is to be a dog. I spent most of my life living outside so am still getting used to the idea of house training. I am a very smart girl and have learned quickly but have the occasional accident. I have made friends with the dogs and cats at my foster home but I prefer the company of my favourite human. I get nervous when I am left alone so my forever family will need to be home most of the time or be able to take me out with them. I love car rides and am a very portable 7lbs. I haven’t been on a leash yet but I get plenty of exercise running around the house and in the yard. I would much rather snuggle up with you on the couch than go for a walk anyway.
If you are ready for a sidekick, apply to adopt me today.
