Harry (nicknamed Bear) is a confident and easy-going boy. He needs some adjusting to life in the city, but he’s a quick learner and a ton of fun!
Hello! My official name is Harry (but my foster family calls me Bear) and I already know I’m going to love you!
I’m a confident and playful boy, who loves being outside as much as I like being inside with you. Sometimes new city things are a little scary for me, but with a little encouragement and some treats, I quickly become comfortable. I’m pretty good at walking on leash, and it’s fairly easy to redirect my attention elsewhere when I’m doing something I shouldn’t be. I’m very interested in people and other dogs, but I’m a big boy and don’t know my own strength – so I’d be best in a home with experienced dog owners and older children.
I haven’t met a toy I don’t love (I have to sometimes be reminded that shoes aren’t toys)! I already know how to fetch and bring the ball back to you. I like to spend a lot of time outside so I hope you have a yard I can hang out in. I’m fully house trained and I’m happy to sleep through the night too.
I’m still working on my manners and basic commands, and my foster family is getting me used to the crate, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of things soon. All I need now is my forever home!”
