Megan, aka “Meggie”, is a smart, cuddly, energetic girl who is very quick to learn, especially when there’s a treat at the ready to reward her.
Meggie came to us from another foster home a few weeks ago. We were told that she was found with her siblings, scavenging for food and that she had an issue with peeing when she was scared. She gets scared easily on walks, but is getting much better and has only had three indoor accidents the entire time she’s been here. She also knows the commands for sit, come and “go pee”, and as she’s a puppy, she’s still learning how not to chew on things. She loves having her belly rubbed and being with her people; when I work at the computer, she loves to check in with a little nose rub every 30 minutes or so, reminding me to get up and take a break. She’s becoming more confident everyday, and we would love to see her go to a home where she will not only get a lot of attention, but also be with people who will keep her training up…she’s so smart! Also, we had a two-year-old here for a couple days, and Meggie was very good with her.
I love being near my people, chasing after balls, and getting cuddles!
