This ADORABLE lady here is Meadow and she is looking for a new home (and best friend) to call her own.
Meadow came into AARCS care when she was found as a stray with a face full of quills. She is now in her foster home gaining weight and learning the way life should be. Meadow gets along with the two large resident dogs and cat in her foster home and even sleeps in her kennel all night long. She is house trained and uses the dog run without hesitation. Walks are great with this girl but she does get afraid of people with hats on and has a little bit of leash aggression towards other dogs so we are working on overcoming that (and it’s getting better).
Meadow would do well in pretty much any home as she gets along with most animals. She loves to give kisses to the little human baby in her foster home but we are unsure how she would do with young children as Meadow can be a little clumsy and knock things over. She is learning that jumping up to say hello is not something she should do and is also starting to realize that play time is best outside. Getting scratches is one of her favourite things and loves to go wherever you go. She is very friendly to newcomers in the home (because that usually means she gets even MORE attention) and loves to snuggle when it’s movie time. She is also very food motivated and is learning the regular commands like “sit”, “stay”, etc. A home to call her own is all this girl really wants and she would do well being in a one dog home or even have another companion to play with. More than anything she wants a human best friend to cuddle with, explore with and get all the attention she can get.
If you’re looking for a sweet girl to join your family and become your new best friend then Meadow just might be the perfect girl for you.
