    Story

Hi I’m Chase, a handsome, gentle young man who loves playing with my foster brother and getting love from my foster mom and her friends.

I came to my foster home to heal from a leg wound, but all my stitches are out now and I’m all better. You’ll notice I have one floppy, torn ear…life was a little tough for me before coming to AARCS. I think it gives me character and I’ve been told that chicks dig scars!

I lived outside before coming to my foster home so I was a bit nervous about coming inside at first, but I got over that quickly! I still love being outside whenever I can though, so it’d be great if you had a fenced yard where I could hang out.

My mom doesn’t think I really understand housetraining yet, but I’m a grown-up fellow who can go the whole day without an accident while she’s at work. As long as I’m offered breaks, there’s no problem (I just don’t know to ask yet so keep that in mind!)

I’m still learning my basics, like Sit and Stay, but I’m very polite and don’t jump up on people. I don’t know what “walks” are yet, but we’re working on it (I’m calm on a leash but I haven’t figured out that we’re supposed to actually GO somewhere when the leash is on). I am a bit of an opportunist when it comes to counter tops and stray flip-flops but I understand and respond to “No” when I get busted.

As for potential future family members:

I love my foster brother, another husky/mix who’s about the same size as me. We run and play together and have lots of fun. I would love to have a dog friend to burn off energy with!

There’s also a cat at my foster house and I love her. I’m very gentle, but can be very persistent in my affection…so it would be great if any future cat siblings were ok being around dogs.

I haven’t met any kids yet, but I’m a pretty big guy so older ones would probably be best.

    Let’s be friends!
