Normally, I don’t write bios for the kittens in my care from my own perspective, but I just have to for Leaf. She’s just too special so I have to tell you about her myself.

Leaf, or Leaflet or Leafy Greens, brings me such joy every single day. This wonderful little cat had such a rough start but she never lets it get her down. She has struggled through medications and vet visits, tube feeding and close calls since the day she was born. Even through all of that, she is the sweetest, happiest, most playful, super snuggly little wonder kitten you will ever meet. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her pretty much instantly.

Leaf has problems with her eyes and she probably always will. She doesn’t produce the tears she should and she needs some help with that through eye drops. She is also prone to kitty colds and often needs medication for her congestion. Does any of that slow her down? No way! She plays and plays and plays.

She currently lives with 7 adult cats and a rotating group of as many as 10 kittens and she will out play them all. She has even my crustiest, kitten hating old cat under her spell. She follows him everywhere and insists on eating out of the same bowl as him. He has hated every kitten we’ve ever brought into our house, except for her. She wormed her way into his heart just like she does with everyone else.

Leaf is a champion snuggler. When she’s done playing, she is happiest snuggled up in a warm lap, on a warm chest or with a warm cat. She gives kisses and head-butts and reminds us every day how happy she is to be there with us.

Leaf isn’t quite ready for adoption yet but, when she is, she will need a forever family as special as she is to make sure this little angel lives her best and happiest life.
