    Story

Hudson is a gentle soul and an extremely smart dude. He’s brilliant at letting me know when it’s time to do his business outside and doesn’t get too excited walking on a leash, unless there is a rabbit that catches his attention. He’s calm and quiet around new people and doesn’t get excited when introduced to new dogs. His ability to melt your heart with those eyes is second to none. We are working on car rides and scary traffic in the city as it’s all very new. Every day his confidence grows and he’s making huge strides as he embarks on this new journey.Hudson is an older fellow who came into our care but, don’t let his grey muzzle fool you this fellow loves to go for his walks and is looking for a family to take some long walks in the park with. Hudson has been great with everyone he has met so far and is an absolute love bug with people. At this time, it is unknown if he has had any exposure to young children. Hudson has been good with other dogs after proper introductions to them. We are unsure how he is with small dogs/small animals. He will also need to be in a feline free home.

Hudson is ideally looking for a home where someone is not gone for long periods of time as he does prefer to be with his people whenever possible. Being an older fellow means that Hudson has had some dental work while in our care and only has a couple of teeth left and he should continue to be on a joint supplement to keep him comfortable. Do you have room in your heart and home for sweet Hudson? If so, please do apply today!
