    Story

My name is Fargo and I am a sweet 5 year old black Retriever cross.

I enjoy being with people and ALWAYS will greet you with a smile and a wag of my tail. In fact, I will be so excited to see you sometimes that I will cry with happiness (I am really trying to speak human) and wag my tail so excitedly (sorry it doesn’t sweep your floors), but I still can’t tell you how much I love you! The more attention I get, the harder my tail wags (my foster parents tell me it sounds like a beaver tail on the floor!). I am very gentle and loving, and will take as much attention, cuddling and belly rubs that you can give me. If you allow me, I enjoy sleeping beside your bed, making sure that you have a good sleep. I definitely am a retriever because I love, love, love fetching balls; but the trick is…I need a human (kids would be the best – they have better aim) to throw the balls for me. One last thing, I love this game humans call ‘doing tricks’, especially when there are treats involved. I will do whatever you want me to do for those delicious little snacks. I would love a forever home, and if you would take me…I would gladly be your “tennis ball retriever” for life.

I am a sweet gentle black beauty!
