My name is Fargo and I am a sweet 5 year old, gentle black beauty (retriever cross)!

I enjoy being with people of all ages. I ALWAYS will greet you with a smile and a wag of my tail. In fact I will be so excited to see you that I will cry with happiness (I am really trying to speak human) and wag my tail frantically expressing my love of you (sorry my tail doesn’t sweep your floors though), but I still won’t be able to express how much I missed you while you were gone! The more attention I get, the happier I am; as I love spending time with you at home, during a car ride, in the yard, and during a walk. I am very gentle and loving and will take as much attention, cuddling and belly rubs that you can give me. I do have a tendency to use my long front paws to get your attention. If you allow me, I enjoy sleeping beside your bed but I do enjoy my kennel too, making sure that we both have a good night’s sleep. I definitely am a retriever because I love, love, love fetching balls; but the trick is…I need a human (kids would be the best – they have better aim) to throw the balls for me. One last thing, I love this game humans call ‘doing tricks’, especially when there are treats involved. I will do whatever you want me to do for those delicious little snacks.

I do need TLC as I have recently undergone PTLO surgery on my back leg. I have been very patient and obedient since my surgery, ensuring I cooperate with my rehab. Slow walks will help me heel.
I would love a forever home, and if you would take me…I would gladly be your “Loving Tennis Ball Retriever” ‘fur’ life!

    Sweet Fargo
