“They call me Colonel, but honestly, I’m not military material: I’m a lover, not a fighter. If you ask me, a better name would be “Mr. Snuggle-puss” or maybe “Mellow Purr Machine.”
Colonel came to AARCS as a surrendered stray, and not much is known about his history. The vets have estimated his age to be around 2 years old, and you can tell he’s spent some time living rough in cold weather, as he’s lost the tips of his ears to frostbite. But the rounded ears just give him a teddy bear look that suits his cuddly personality.
You won’t find an easier going cat: he’s totally unbothered by stuff that sends most cats sprinting in the opposite direction, including vacuum cleaners and noisy little kids brandishing swords. And he somehow managed to win over all 3 of the resident cats in his foster home (even the grumpy one!) in a few short hours. He is a seriously nice guy!
