Meet Parker! He is a sweet boy – who is a bit shy at first but warms up very quickly to his humans. Parker lived outside before coming to AARCS and he has definitely adjusted and loves living the house dog life. Give him a soft bed, and some dog toys – and he is quite content.
Parker traveled here to Calgary from Manitoba – he arrived with his 3 sisters and 1 brother. He currently lives with several fur foster brothers and sisters – 3 cats and 2 dogs – and he is a huge fan of anything 4 legged. He plays very nice with his foster siblings and loves toys – he is very good at keeping himself occupied as long as he has a few stuffies or squeaky toys.
He is crate trained and house trained. He sleeps through the night and has free roam of the house and he hasn’t gotten into any trouble. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new humans but is quick to love and give pup kisses.
Parker does need to work on his leash walking and he has been practicing in the house with his foster mom. The great outdoors is a little scary so he getting accustomed to walking outside – luckily he is a very quick learner and very treat motivated!
Please contact AARCS if you want to come and meet Parker!
