My official name is Dauphin but everyone calls me Tig. I am a gentle but bouncy boy.

I came to AARCS all the way from Manitoba. Prior to AARCS taking me in I under went surgery with another rescue organization to amputate my front leg. Not much is known about the injury but I am now pain free and three legs has not slowed me down at all. I have already learned so much in my foster home. I sit politely for treats and am now working on “lay”.Everyone is always so impressed with how fearless I am in new environments. My foster mom says I learn really quickly, probably because I love making my humans happy.
Speaking of happy, I might be the happiest boy you’ve ever met. I smile and wiggle all the time. My foster brother and I get along very well, we spend our day sharing chew toys and wrestling around. He makes me feel safe. I hope my next home has someone who likes to play too.
I came from AARCS Safe Haven with my own stuffed monkey, next to tennis balls, he is my favorite toy. I carry my monkey everywhere, he sleeps with me, eats with me and when I want to cuddle I bring my stuffed monkey to my humans.
I have a strong sense for human emotions. I seem to have a sixth sense about how people feel. I am very good at snuggling when someone needs a hug. I will not leave your side until everyone is happy. Maybe I have a future career as a service doggie :)
My foster mom hopes that my furever home will be gentle and understanding of my limitations. She also hopes they know that I am a very brave boy who likes to adventure and run as well!

This gentleman is waiting for his happily ever after.
