Hi adopters! My name is McKenzie and if a good things come in small packages I must be the best.
My brothers and I came into our foster home together and of the three of us I was the tiniest. Weighing in at just over 2 lbs I was half the size of both of my brothers. My foster mom noticed right away though that even though I was smaller, I was just as feisty and stood my ground. Because of this spirit my foster mom started calling me Lola. My feisty spirit was put to the test when my brothers and I got really sick for the first few weeks in care. We all pulled through and now I have even more spirit and have gained much needed weight to help me keep growing. I love to play with my stuffies and chasing down a ball or two keeps me entertained for ever! I am a bit of a princess when it comes to being outside in the cold. I am trying to learn to do my business outside but I can be stubborn and hold it til I get back in where its warm. I am doing a bit better every day, and my foster mom keeps telling me it will get easier and eventually warmer too. I love cuddles and love to be around the humans in my house, even the little one who’s 9. I would love an active family to teach me lots of fun tricks and show me awesome new places. A family that has other dogs would be great but I would be ok being the only spoiled puppy. Because I am still a baby I can sometimes be a little noisy when I am first left alone but have learned to quiet myself down pretty quickly, a family that can be patient with me while I adjust to my new life is a must.
