Toffee & his siblings had a bit of a scary start, with each of them having a heart murmur. His cleared up on it’s own & he is good to go.
Toffee is very friendly & loves to play hard. After a fun session of running & wrestling he will settle into a good nap. Toffee will let you know he needs to go potty by sitting or laying at the door. Sometimes he rings the doggy doorbell. He only has an accident if you miss his cue. He sleeps quietly in the crate by my bed all night. He does go in the crate if we need to leave him alone for a couple of hrs. but will fuss about it for a bit then settle. Because his voice can get loud during this I don’t think a condo or apartment would suit him. He sits & waits for his food, can do a short stay & usually comes when called. We are working on down, off & lay down. Toffee loves to wrestle with my dog but can get rough with her because she is much smaller. He could benefit from having a med. to large buddy to help teach him the ropes. He is a good follower & likes to please. This is a good trait to have for extra training like agility. Toffee has a funny awkward, persistent side to him & doesn’t know his own strength. For this reason he will do better in a home with children 12 & older. He makes us laugh with his goofy ways & will make a great companion as he matures.
