My name is Calla and I can’t wait to go to my forever home!
My foster mom tells me I have really good manners and calls me a sweet girl all the time. I have a foster sister that I love to play with outside. We play take away with a ball, and tag, it’s so much fun! I would love to go to a home with another dog to play with, but if I’m the only one getting your attention that’s A-Okay with me also…more cuddle time for me!
I’ve learned a lot in the past few months, and am very eager to learn more tricks. So far I can sit and lay down when there is a tasty treat as a reward. I’m also getting used to being in a kennel while my foster mom leaves the house. At first I didn’t like it, but now I realize it’s a safe place for me to chillax and take a break from playing with my foster sister.
When I meet new dogs, it’s best if you remind me to take it slow. I can still get a bit excited and want to talk to them and run up to them. I don’t realize how that comes across to other dogs and their fur parents; I’m told it’s not a good way to make new friends. I am getting better with each walk I take and with more training I will have dogs lining up at my door wanting to hang out.
My foster home is awesome and everything, but what I really, really want is a loving home to call my own.
