Hi, I’m Brownie, and I’m just the sweetest, most affectionate thing you’ll ever meet!
I LOVE cuddling. Do you love cuddling? If you really, really like snuggling I’m your girl! Did I mention that cuddling is my most favorite thing in the world? I mean, personal space – who needs it?! Aside from cuddling, I love spending my days playing with my four-legged foster brother, going for walks, and lounging on one of my many dog beds. Even though sometimes I act like a puppy, I am an adult, so of course I ALWAYS do my business outside like any dignified lady like me would! I’m getting better at walking with a loose leash every day, and just starting to get the hang of heeling. My foster mum wouldn’t rate me as a 10/10 quite yet, but I am getting there! Yeah, so sometimes I bark at other dogs and people on walks or in the yard, but my foster mum usually gives me a treat and I settle right down. My recall is pretty good too! We haven’t tested it a whole lot in distracting areas, but I’m definitely not one of those silly dogs that doesn’t come in the house when called. I mean, I just want to spend ALL my time with you, so of course I’ll come in when you want me to! And even though I don’t overly mind my crate, I’m also fine to be left out while my foster parents are gone to work. I don’t get into anything I’m not supposed to.

As my foster mum noted, I do have some behavior needs (man oh man, is she DRAMATIC or what?!). I just need proper and slow introductions when meeting and experiencing new people, new situations, and places. I need some time to warm up to people, but once I do, be prepared for so much affection. She says I would do very well with an experienced handler to help me overcome my fears slowly. She has been doing lots of behavior work with me, and she thinks I deserve a gold star for all the progress I’ve been making in such a short time. I’m still scared of getting into cars, but I’m making lots of progress there too! We play lots of games around our parked car with the doors open, and she thinks I’ll overcome that fear with a little more work and time, especially if your car takes me to fun places where I can run around and play!

I am so excited to cuddle your face off and go on all of the adventures with you <3
