Hi, my name is Columbus and I’m on my way to discover a new life. My three legs can get me almost anywhere!
When AARCS came to rescue me, I had dug a hole and was ready to give up. Now because of their care and help, I am ready for my second chance at life.
I recently had my right hind leg amputated, as well as half of my tail. My bottom front teeth were pushed in, so they had to be removed, but all the pain I lived with has been replaced with joy and happiness, if I were a cat I’d be purring!
I love jumping in snowbanks, exploring on walks. Following my Foster Mom up and down the stairs. I just learned how to do the stairs. Also, eating, mmmm mmmm I love food, but nothing beats snuggling on the couch.
I have three foster sisters that I live with, they are really nice and I don’t mind them at all. My sisters are teaching me how to play and have fun and I’m getting more confident every day. I’ve never messed in the house and I always do my business outside. I have not chewed or touched anything I’m not supposed to.
Foster Mom is always kissing me and telling me I’m so gentle and sweet. And that someone special is waiting to love and pamper me. Yeah!!! I can’t wait!
