    Story

Hello! My name is Bandana. I am a 6 year old black lab mix and I enjoy long naps, breakfast in bed, and snuggling with my favorite humans.

I was found limping and some nice humans discovered that my leg was broken. Right now I am a bit bummed out because I have this silly cast on my leg and I am confined to very short walks and cage rest. I am a really good boy and know a few tricks like sit, stay (this one is really hard!), and touch. My foster family works with me each day to help strengthen my training and I would do well in a home with structure. The world is a pretty scary place (especially when I’m left alone) and the structure helps me to feel more confident. I currently live with a couple of cats and they’re okay I guess. Sometimes they try and take my treats or encroach on my personal space so I tell them to leave me alone with a low vocalization. I’ll probably be cuddling with them soon enough but for now it’s best if my foster family supervises us until I am completely comfortable around them.
