Hi, I’m looking for a forever family!
This beautiful girl is Maxy, but we call her Misty Canyon.
She was surrendered during an Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force clinic and now ready to join a new forever family. We don’t know anything about her past, but she is a very sweet, loving puppy and all she wants is to be loved. She is easy going, quiet, and very easy to look after.
She loves to cuddle and a nightly belly rub is a must! She walks fine on a leash and doesn’t get too distracted. She sleeps through the night in her crate in foster mom’s bedroom but really enjoyed sleeping with mom in her bed after her spay surgery. When the alarm goes off, she is very happy to see her foster mom and gets really excited to start her day.
She has a tendency to be protective of her foster mom and toys but does play well most of the time with other dogs. She is definitely getting better as she gets more comfortable living with her 3 fur siblings. She also loves to chew! She has destroyed her harness, our shoes, headphone and her sister’s harness so having a plenty of good chew toys is a must and the house must be puppy-proof.
She loves going to work with her foster mom and she is quiet and very well behaved there. She gets a lot of pets and treats from the staff and they all love her. She is about 8 1/2 months old and weighs 32 lbs. She does her business outside as long as someone is there to let her out.
Please come meet this brindle cutie. You will fall in love just as we did.
