    Story

Daisy is a very loving and happy dog despite her many challenges. She loves to cuddle and always has a wagging tail going on!

After being hit by a car and sustaining severe injuries, Daisy has recovered and ready for her forever family. Her constant pain has been virtually eliminated by several surgeries to repair her hips and knees. Daisy is a hard girl to keep down! As her muscle mass increases, she is so happy and excited that she has starting trying to jump and dance. She doesn’t like climbing stairs, but she will do it with some encouragement. Daisy likes short, slow daily walks while she is getting stronger. Loud and sudden noises scare her and she will try to run away to somewhere she feels safe. Daisy is working on strengthening her confidence as well as her muscles! She likes having a warm, safe house to live in and doesn’t like leaving it, but she really gets excited when she knows she is on the way home again. We have found Daisy is more willing to go for her short walks when she has a dog confidence buddy to go walking with. Daisy isn’t a rough and tumble kind of girl, so she doesn’t play and needs a calm house and confidence buddy. Daisy is very cuddly with our dogs and they understand Daisy just doesn’t want to play. Daisy is comfortable both sharing and respecting space of our dogs and people.
