Daisy is a darling dog and is working hard to strengthen both her body and spirit.

Daisy has made so much progress over the last month. We have been taking her to new places that are full of challenging obstacles and she has been so brave! She hesitates at the doorway of new places, but then boldly goes through to sniff and explore. Daisy isn’t so sure about new people yet in public and will just move herself out of reach. On home turf, she will warm up to people, but needs a little time to ask for a good chin scratch. Daisy is getting stronger and has increased her walking endurance from 10 minutes flat sidewalk only to 30 minutes with low grade hills, and occasionally challenge walking for close to an hour. She is more consistently climbing stairs and will slide down stairs when she goes too quickly and loses her footing. It’s hard to not laugh at her exuberance, so why try! She brings a great deal of joy and happiness into each day and is incredibly loyal and affectionate.
