Looking for a sweet old girl to spend some relaxation time with, look no further!
Hi there! My AARCS name is Becca but my foster Mum’s been calling me Bessie or Bes Bes which makes me wiggle with joy. I came into AARCS care very underweight and with a poorly healed injury that lead to me having a back leg amputated. Because I was moving around on it for so long before, I adapted to this tripawd life really well. However, I don’t love stairs. I will go up and down them but need lots of encouragement so I’m looking for a lower level home.
I’m now loving my new life of sleeping on a comfy bed, regular meals and lots of love. When I get excited, my whole body wiggles and I’ve just started smiling when I see Foster Mum get up in the morning. I’m crate trained and often will go there when it gets too noisy or busy. You see, I’ve lived a busy life and now I’m looking for my retirement home. I love people who are quiet and kind and will go up to them for pets when I feel ready. Foster Mum even took me to a dog friendly patio and I loved seeing what was going on. From the comfort of my dog bed of course. Talking of dog beds, I don’t love car rides. However when Foster Mum lets me lie on my bed, I can tolerate car them. As long as I’m with my person then I will go most places. I don’t love the vet though because of my surgeries ( leg amputated and teeth removed) but I love the attention I get afterwards. Foster Mum had 5 dogs in the house for a bit and that was too much for me. I don’t need another dog as a companion, but if you have an older one for me to chill with then that would be OK.
If you think we can spend the rest of my days together then give me a call. I look forward to meeting you
