Looking for an energetic people lover?

Hi! My name is Ella and I am an energetic young lady looking for a home without cats, small animals or small children (older kids are great). I will need lots of exercise but also love to get cuddles. I am a bit shy of new situations, but I’m sure that will improve as I get to trust you and know you will help me through the tough parts.

I am about 25-30 lbs, so not very big. I am great in my kennel (it is my comfy spot) and I sleep well through the night unless there is a storm. Loud noises scare me. I have started working on basic commands and know sit, go to your kennel, and lay down. I am still working on stay and off (I like to jump up on you to great you and get petted). I would really love to do a training course with you and after that maybe some agility to keep my mind challenged. I am great at doing my business outside. I am affectionate and a snuggler when I am ready to relax after a good play session. I love stuffed toys and tug toys a lot. Really all toys. I L-O-V-E to play with soccer balls and hope to compete in the World Cup some day (okay maybe just the Backyard World Cup).

Being a herding breed, I do have a habit of nipping at smaller animals but I’m sure a good trainer can help stop that. I’m not trying to hurt them. I do have some prey drive, so best not to tempt me with small critters. I’m working on leash training and still tend to pull a lot initially but I’m getting better.

Overall, I am looking for a family who can continue to work on my training and give me lots of activities to stimulate my mind and keep me exercised, while also providing lots of snuggles and love. I promise to reward you with lots of love in return. Having a playmate around my size or bigger would be a major bonus but not necessary. I love to interact with humans a lot.

    Can’t wait to meet you!
