Little Bubba is working on learning that the world isn’t such a scary place!
Bubba came into AARCS care after a dog attack left him with puncture wounds to his hind leg that were left untreated and became badly infected. His physical wounds are healed, and now we are working on teaching him that he doesn’t need to be afraid of people, and that he can be friends with dogs! He is making progress and is accepting physical affection from his foster family, although he still avoids his four-legged foster brother. He will eat out of his foster mom’s hand, and just recently started giving her a play bow and a wiggle when she gets home from work! He is mostly house trained and crate trained, and has thankfully realized that just because the sun is up, that doesn’t mean everyone has to be!
