Hi there! My name is Elby and I came into AARCS care as a four week old puppy because I needed medical attention that my previous owner was unable to provide. I’ve been nursed back to health by my foster family and my furry foster brother and sister gave me all the doggy support and guidance I needed to become a good little pup. I’m a very smart girl that catches on to new routines and cues easily, and will make a loyal and alert companion! I am a confident little lady that doesn’t like being told “no” (I think every girl should voice her opinion!), so a more experienced adopter that is patient and has a plan will be a good match for me! I’ve done a great job learning not to do my business in the house, to sit when I’m being fed, I’m comfortable in a crate and I go for leashed walks now!! My foster mom says I’m independent….I think that means that I don’t seem to mind enjoying some alone time to just reflect on life and have a rest all by myself. Oh yeah, I also have human brothers that are 11 and 14 years old and I like hanging out with them a lot!!
If you have room in your life for a young pup with a giant personality, please send in an application to meet me!
