  • Story

The ladies call me Hudson, and I’m looking for a long term relationship.

To be honest, I have spent most of my 4 years in a dead-end relationship, and am looking forward to something permanent. My hobbies include having my tummy rubbed, napping, and going for strolls around the block. In my previous life I didn’t get out a lot, and am really getting into cuddles, and laying in the grass. My foster family tells me that my celebrity look-a-like is Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. If you think we could be a match, send me a message!

Hudson is a sweet boy, who would like nothing more than be to be cuddled for the rest of his life. He is past the busy and challenging puppy stage. He doesn’t bark, dig, or chew. When provided with opportunities to go outside, he knows what to do. He has occasional accidents, however this is typically only when he is stressed. Given his life circumstances, he does not like to be kenneled. He is the kind of dog that will follow you around the house to ‘help’ with whatever is keeping you busy. He has gotten along very well with our dog, and cats, however he would be fine being an only dog too.

Every dog has it’s day, and today belongs to me!

      Yes, Behavioral Special Needs

Although he is affectionate, Hudson requires time to adapt to new people. He will typically select one or two people in the home as his preferred snugglers. He is nervous of men, and will take the long way around if they are in the room. I think this is something that he will eventually get over once trust is built. This dog has a lot of potential to be a wonderful family pet, but will require patience and compassion.
