Hi, my name’s Bits! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
When I first came into AARCS’s care, I was absolutely terrified of the world and everyone in it. Everything was so unknown, and so scary! I’d never seen any of it before! I’ve been in foster care for a while now, and I’m happy to report I’m doing so much better. I still don’t like to be touched, but I love to be near my foster mom at all times. I’m so curious… so many new things to learn! I have many doggie siblings here, and I LOOOOVE them. When it’s time for me to be adopted, I think I’d like to go to a home with another little dog for me to play and hang with. There’s a cat here too, and she’s pretty cool. She doesn’t like to cuddle as much as the dogs, but I’ll keep working on her. My toilet training is just one of the things I’m working hard on – I’m not sure how to ask to go out, but when my mommy comes out with me I’ll do it where I’m supposed to. Otherwise I’ll reliably use a puppy pad, as long as there’s one left out for me. I can’t go for walks yet because I still can’t wear a collar or leash, but sometimes my foster mom takes me out in a stroller in my crate, so I can see and smell the world. So now that I’ve hooked you with my pictures (yeah, I know, I’m pretty dang cute), all I have to do is make you fall in love with my personality as well! Keep watching my page for progress reports!
Love, Bits (aka your future best friend)
