This handsome fella comes to us from a farm in rural Alberta. In his first three years, Wezley did not get to interact with people very often. He is friendly by nature and is learning what is like to be a family pet. He is shy and would try to hide if anyone tried to pet him. Within a few days, Wezley started to transform into a curious, comical little fella. Wezley trusts the woman in the home the most and she can give him belly rubs and they sit on the couch together for family movie night. He is practicing to walk on a leash and likes to meet other dogs from the neighborhood. He does very well with the resident dog and cat and he runs up to the teenagers in the home eagerly – stopping just out of reach for now. Wezley has been slower to warm up to the man in the foster home and at first preferred to keep his distance. The trust has now grown a lot and he likes to stay pretty close to the man; just in case it’s time for the daily walk! He loves to be outside and to scurry around the back yard exploring every inch. Wezley does very well if left on his own and has no problem being contained at night. He loves his crate and likes the foster family’s routine. We are excited to meet the lucky family who will get to take this great little dog home. He will constantly entertain you and love being a part of your family.
