    Story

    Sweet Mama Purrkins.

Purrkins cams to AARCS pregnant from a tough situation. She had six beautiful kittens that she was a great mama to, but now that her kittens have found forever homes for themselves it’s her turn! She’s recently been all fixed up, including getting seven teeth removed during a dental and recovering from an ear infection. She’s had enough pain in her life and would love a forever home who spoils her and takes really good care of her!

Purrkins is very friendly and really loves attention. She’ll sit behind her foster humans and groom their heads while they watch TV and will sit and get pet as long as she can. She is still quite young and loves to play with toys. She carries little stuffed balls around the house in her mouth while meowing happily. She also loves the cardboard scratchy pads.

Purrkins gets along great with the dog in her foster home, even trying to rub against her. She tolerates some of the cats in her foster home (mostly the females) but chases others away. This could be because she had the kittens with in her foster home so it may improve, but she may always be uncomfortable with other cats. She definitely needs a home where she can claim her own space and find time for herself.
