Dottie is a sweet, loving and friendly medium energy dog.
Dottie is a unique looking Shepherd Cross – one eye is blue and brown, her topcoat is black and undercoat is tan and she has a bobbed tail. She is medium size, around 50 lbs, is house trained, and walks nicely on leash – she is usually right next to you and touches your leg with her nose every once and awhile during the walk. When meeting new people she may be shy at first but warms up quickly then asks for pets. She loves attention, is always in the same room as her people and loves to give kisses. She gets along with the resident dog and played well with him off leash in a fenced area. Dottie requires supervision in the yard as she took herself on an adventure over the fence once when left alone.
Unfortunately Dottie has a hard time being separated from her humans, she is currently crated when left alone as she previously damaged some trim trying to get out a door. We are working on turning crating into a positive experience with treats but she may whine when left alone.

Dottie has some separation anxiety: she may whine or cry when crated and when left alone in a room (not crated) she wrecked some door trim trying to get out.
